The objective of the Fuel Gas System (FGS) is to provide natural gas as feed to hydrogen production units (HPU) and fuel gas (for use in different process fired heater, steam generation boilers, blanketing gas).
The system receives Natural Gas from external sources, which its pressure and temperature controlled/regulated to suitable level after metering for distribution to users within fuel gas (high and lowpressure networks).
Operating/Design Pressure: 90/100 barg, Operating /Design Temperature: 50°C/85°C
Sweet gas mixed with natural gas to minimize its import from battery limit of the complex.
Sweet gas which is mixing of sweet gas from Amine unit and off gas from LPG recovery unit is mixed with natural gas comes out of let-down station as LP fuel gas.
